Meet The Wilsons
Erin Wilson is the hardworking and visionary CEO of Superior Farms. Originally from Saskatchewan, Erin grew up with parents who were avid gardeners, inspiring her lifelong love for plants and design. She began her university studies at the University of Regina and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Waterloo, bringing a wealth of knowledge and determination to her role. Erin’s passion for design is reflected in every detail of the farm, from the thoughtfully curated spaces to the welcoming atmosphere she has cultivated. A former owner of a home decor store and a skilled photographer, Erin blends creativity and business savvy to make Superior Farms a thriving and inspiring destination. Despite her busy schedule, she’s also a devoted mom, cheering on her three children—Sam, Miller, and Clarke—in their athletic pursuits.
In 2015, Erin and her husband Jamie purchased the farm from one of Jamie’s best friend’s families, transforming it into a vibrant family business. Jamie’s connection to the farm is long-standing, having spent much of his childhood there. A former hockey player, Jamie’s career included playing for the University of Alberta, professional leagues in Germany, and the BCHL. Now, he focuses on his entrepreneurial ventures, running Wilson Pro Painting and Scholars Edge Painting, while contributing to the farm’s operations.
With their two dogs, Winnie the Bulldog and Baker the Great Pyrenees, often by their side, Erin and Jamie have built more than a business—they’ve created a welcoming community hub. Superior Farms embodies their shared values of hard work, creativity, and family, offering visitors a unique opportunity to connect with animals, enjoy beautiful surroundings, and create lasting memories.
